Ballet is an ideal starter and gives good posture and poise. Our Jazz classes promote flexibility and dancing to the latest chart music, which is great for children age 6 upwards.

Principal Biography
Gaynor Datson – I.S.T.D and R.A.D. fully registered. CRB Disclosure.

I started dancing at the age of 3 at my local dance school in Essex. At 16 I won a place at the Northern Ballet School, Manchester on the Teacher Training course.

I graduated 3 years later with the NBS Diploma and the Teaching Award for my year as well as teaching qualifications in Ballet, Tap, Modern, and National for the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance, The Royal Academy of Dance Teaching Certificate (Distinction) and R.A.D child psychology, History of Dance and Anatomy.

This was followed by a dance career on cruise ships around the world including QE2.

I then spent 5 years teaching in Dorset and since 2002 have settled in West Yorkshire with my Husband, Son & Daughter.
